HUNTSVILLE TOWN PARK - ICE RINK

Ice Skating in Huntsville has long been a local tradition.  From late December till early March, our park becomes one of the premier outdoor skating rinks in the west.  We recently purchased our version of a Zamboni (a 6’ wide tractor mounted sweeper) and our ice has been pristine.
We have made more improvements over the summer, so our 2007 season will be the best ever. Located at 300 S 7400 E  Huntsville, tables and covered pavilion available, so bring a lunch or snack and have a great time skating.
Proposed upgrades:

  • New frost free water hydrant 
  • Heated building to house water hydrant and hoses
  • Hose reel
  • Upgraded lighting
  • Grading and leveling of subsurface

We are currently accepting donations to help these improvements become a reality.  Since many of our users are from outside the town limits, we are hoping for widespread support.
