Police services for Huntsville Town are provided by contract with the Weber County Sheriffs Office. The mission of the Weber County Sheriff's Office is to provide a safe environment for life and property within Weber County through quality service.

Weber County is the second smallest county in land mass and the fourth largest in population in the State of Utah, with a population now approaching 200,000 residents. There are fifteen incorporated cities and towns within Weber County. Of that number, Weber County Sheriff's Office provides all direct law-enforcement services for seven of those cities and towns. The Sheriff's Office also contracts with the U. S. Forest Service to provide additional security in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest.
