ADVERTISEMENT FOR REQUEST OF BIDS
CONSTRUCTION OF TOWN HALL/COMMUNITY CENTER
Huntsville Town is accepting Bids from qualified Bidders to construct a Town hall/Community Center to be
located at 7474 East 200 South, Huntsville, Utah.
Huntsville Town will make the bid documents (drawing and specifications) available to any interested parties
from the Town website www.huntvsilletown.com, and in the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P). The
documents may be downloaded for free. The City will not provide any copies of the bid documents.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid conference will be held at 4:00 PM local time on September 7, 2023 at the Ogden Valley
Branch of the Weber County Library, located at 131 S. 7400 E., Huntsville, UT. Attendance at the pre-bid
conference is mandatory. An Attendance Log will need to be signed by the company representative at the
meeting. Attendance is required in order to submit a bid.
Deadline for submittal of questions is September 6, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. All questions shall be submitted by email

Closing Date for Receipt of Bids is September 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Bids can be hand delivered to the Town
Offices at 7381 E. 200 S. Huntsville, Utah or mailed to PO Box 267, Huntsville, Utah 84317. Bids must be in
receipt of the Town Clerk by bid closing listed above, therefore it is important for bidders to verify that their bid
is in receipt of the Town Clerk before the closing date. Special instructions will be posted on the door of the
Town Offices in the case the Town Clerk is not available during business hours.
Any Addendums for this solicitation will be posted on the www.huntsvilletown.com website and in the Utah
Public Procurement Place (U3P). Bidders shall acknowledge Addendum(s) in their bid proposal. Please check
website/U3P frequently for updates.
Bidders are required to submit two separate sealed packets at time of bid submittal. The bidders must clearly
mark on each sealed packet as to their distinct contents. The first will contain pre-qualification information.
This packet will be opened to determine if the bidder meets the pre-qualification standards for experience and
past quality of work. Bidders that meet the pre-qualification standards will then have their bids opened.
Bidders that do not meet the pre-qualification standards will not have their bids opened and will be shredded.
Bidders are directed to pay special attention to the instruction for bidder at the front of the bid package and in
Section 42 01 00 in the special provision at the back of the bid package. There the bidders will find detailed
instructions relating to the bid submittal
